This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of comprehensive category insights support for key Strategic Account chains.
• Create and implement insight-driven strategies aimed at achieving sales volume and profit goals.
• Spearhead analytical and strategic collaboration with sales executives, sales leads, distributor partners, and relevant retail buyers.
• Generate and present insights, analyses, and category evaluations.
• Evaluate performance, pinpoint opportunities, and offer actionable recommendations.
• Utilize syndicated, retailer loyalty, and internal data to produce shopper and business insights.
• Design, maintain, and enhance reporting and analytics processes.
• Assess and quantify the impact of key initiatives and refine strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to unlock growth opportunities in innovation, assortment, shelving, pricing, and promotions.
• Assist in category reviews, new item and program meetings, business planning, and ad hoc analyses.
• Work with Sales and Business Intelligence, including travel as necessary for customer engagement and business priorities.
• Foster consultative relationships with stakeholders to influence decision-making and execution.
• Partner with Sales, BI, and Marketing to deliver integrated solutions.
• Identify risks and opportunities, communicating implications and recommended actions.
• Act as a trusted thought partner to propel business growth.
• Streamline processes, enhance working methods, and improve team efficiency.
• Cultivate capabilities and disseminate best practices.
• Offer adaptable support across various customers or categories as business needs change.
• BA/BS degree is mandatory.
• 5-10 years of relevant business experience in the CPG industry with a supplier, retailer, or distributor.
• Experience in the beverage alcohol sector is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Retailer POS, Syndicated and Panel data, Retail Link, Microsoft Excel, Nielsen and/or Circana.
• Competence in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, interpretative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• A solid team-oriented mindset.
• Creative thinking with the ability to convey and present ideas and solutions effectively.
