Analytics Manager, Strategic Accounts

📋 Description

• Take charge of comprehensive category insights support for key Strategic Account chains.

• Create and implement insight-driven strategies throughout the portfolio to achieve sales volume and profit goals.

• Spearhead analytical and strategic collaboration with senior sales executives, sales leads, distributor partners, and relevant retail buyers.

• Generate and present insights, analyses, and category evaluations.

• Analyze performance, pinpoint opportunities, and convert findings into actionable recommendations.

• Utilize syndicated, retailer loyalty, and internal data to produce shopper and business insights.

• Design, sustain, and enhance reporting and analytics.

• Assess and gauge the impact of key initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly.

• Collaborate with sales leadership to identify and implement growth opportunities in innovation, assortment, shelving, pricing, and promotion.

• Assist with category reviews, new item and program meetings, business planning, and ad hoc analyses.

• Work alongside Sales and the Business Intelligence team, including travel as necessary for customer engagement and business priorities.

• Cultivate consultative relationships with key stakeholders to influence decision-making and execution.

• Partner with Sales, BI, and Marketing to create integrated solutions.

• Recognize risks and opportunities, communicate implications and recommended actions, and focus on high-impact work.

• Act as a trusted thought partner and propose innovative ideas to foster business growth.

• Streamline processes, enhance operational methods, and boost team effectiveness.

• Build capabilities and share best practices to improve team performance.

• Offer flexible support across additional customers or categories as business needs change.


⛳️ Requirements

• A BA/BS degree is mandatory.

• 5-10 years of relevant business experience within the CPG industry, whether with a supplier, retailer, or distributor.

• Experience in the beverage alcohol sector is preferred.

• Advanced proficiency in Retailer POS, Syndicated and Panel data, Retail Link, Microsoft Excel, Nielsen, and/or Circana.

• Proficiency in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong analytical, interpretative, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent data visualization and storytelling abilities.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal abilities.

• Team-oriented mindset.

• Creative thinking skills, with the ability to communicate and present ideas and solutions effectively.
