This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of fraud performance for depository products, which includes monitoring fraud losses, approval rates, false positives, customer friction, and other crucial risk metrics.
• Create and sustain scalable data models and transformation pipelines utilizing tools such as DBT.
• Standardize data related to depository products, transactions, customers, fraud, and operations.
• Establish reliable fraud performance metrics and analytical datasets.
• Develop ongoing dashboards, scorecards, and monitoring frameworks.
• Perform comprehensive analyses to identify the causes of fraud losses, control gaps, false positives, portfolio transitions, and unexpected performance fluctuations.
• Convert analytical results into actionable insights.
• Create and refine fraud rules, policies, thresholds, models, and decision strategies.
• Assess data sources and signals for identity risk, account takeover, device risk, transaction risk, and various fraud types.
• Oversee testing and performance assessment of changes to fraud strategies.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, Fraud Operations, and Risk teams.
• Enhance fraud strategies, reinforce operational feedback mechanisms, and aid in the launch of new products.
• Over 7 years of experience in analytics.
• Proficient in SQL and Python.
• Capability to collaborate and influence across different teams.
• Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and respond promptly during peak fraud incidents.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities.
• Familiarity with payment processing fundamentals.
• Understanding of industry risk trends, including knowledge of fraud strategy development.
