Analytics Engineer 5 – Ads Technical Measurement and Quality

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Leverage analytics and data engineering expertise to ensure that advertising QoE data is utilized effectively throughout the organization.

• Serve as the primary steward for ads QoE, concentrating on instrumentation, monitoring, and comprehending the evolving user experience within the product, while promoting best practices.

• Collaborate with product engineering teams, data engineers, and data scientists to create innovative methods for evaluating user perceptions of performance.

• Enhance the quality-of-experience instrumentation for Netflix ads, utilizing telemetry data from user devices to create high-visibility dashboards.

• Extract insights from extensive datasets regarding the complete advertising experience and corresponding systems.

• Foster superior quality experiences across various devices and networks utilized by global users.

• A strong enthusiasm for exploring and constructing highly technical datasets and logging mechanisms.

• Proven experience in producing clear written and visual technical documentation outlining user flow and its instrumentation.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Highly adept at cultivating meaningful relationships with stakeholders and acquiring deep domain knowledge.

• Strong proficiency in SQL.

• Competence in Python programming.

• Experience in developing data pipelines.

• Familiarity with software engineering methodologies.

• Experience with large-scale data processing and tool development is an advantage.

• Comfort with ambiguity and uncertainty.

• Capability to excel with minimal supervision and established processes.
