This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Engage in the design, development, and deployment of data-driven predictive models.

• Contribute to global FICO Scores initiatives through client data analysis, model creation, validation, and delivery processes.

• Design, develop, and assess exploratory analyses, predictive models, and decision models tailored to financial services business challenges.

• Analyze extensive consumer credit and credit bureau datasets.

• Develop variables and support scoring solutions.

• Utilize statistical modeling, machine learning, pattern recognition, and performance inference methodologies.

• Investigate and resolve issues related to data, modeling, and analytics.

• Create, review, and present formal presentations of analytical work.

• Communicate modeling results, key insights, and recommendations to stakeholders and clients.

• Manage analytical workflows across multiple projects while adhering to deadlines.

• Collaborate with project teams and client stakeholders across different international time zones.

• Travel occasionally for client meetings or project-related purposes.


⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Cognitive Science, or a related quantitative, technical, or natural science field.

• Relevant experience in financial services, fintech, insurance, consumer lending, or credit bureau settings is preferred.

• Familiarity with consumer credit risk, fraud risk, credit bureau data, or lending decision-making is preferred.

• Strong programming and data analysis proficiency using Python, R, C++, Java, MATLAB, or similar languages.

• Ability to prepare, manipulate, analyze, and model large datasets effectively.

• Skilled in analyzing complex datasets, identifying data processing or analytical issues, determining root causes, and proposing practical solutions.

• Self-motivated individual with a curious and analytical mindset.

• Open and effective communicator.

• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in cross-functional and client-facing environments.

• Willingness to engage in global projects, including occasional meetings outside standard business hours.

• Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar is a plus.

• Occasional domestic or international travel may be necessary.
