This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Execute assignments linked to commercial real estate valuation and consulting initiatives.

• Evaluate intricate highest and best use scenarios.

• Calculate cash flows utilizing discounted cash flow models.

• Examine comparable sales and cost analyses.

• Investigate market data and comparable transactions.

• Ascertain highest and best use, estimate market rents, and derive credible market values.

• Conduct lease abstracts.

• Implement market surveys.

• Collaborate with seasoned team members to understand the appraisal process.

• Draft sections of assignments, underwrite financials, and draw conclusions on value.

• Validate comparable data for client deliverables.

• Utilize VAST team members to upload and maintain frequently used data.

• Work with VAST to enhance productivity.

• Complete the preliminary sections of reports and collaborate with senior team members on financial analysis and sales strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0-2+ years of experience in commercial real estate valuation or a related field (finance, research, analysis).

• Strong interest in appraisal and valuation services.

• Prior real estate-related internship is highly preferred.

• Maintain steady progress on coursework required for the Certified-General license, aiming to achieve licensure in no more than 36 months.

• Become proficient in Excel and Word; make use of training support as necessary.

• Acquire competency in JLL technology.

• Complete JLLU to familiarize with processes, templates, and technologies.

• Obtain a Trainee license within 90 days of starting at JLL VA (if applicable in state).

• Finish Basic Principles, Basic Procedures, and USPAP course within 90 days of starting at JLL.

• Complete 200 hours of coursework within the first 18 months.

• Maintain a job log to record experience hours.

• Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
