Analyst, Prime Vendor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Analyze and present business trends and outcomes to uncover opportunities for improvement and solutions for clients and the sales organization.

• Collaborate with both internal and external clients to drive results associated with distribution metrics and reporting needs.

• Engage with sales and customers to identify, prioritize, monitor, and manage projects and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Establish, maintain, and nurture relationships with customers, sales teams, and vendors.

• Lead or take part in customer meetings, including value analysis committees.

• Consult with vendors regarding products, pricing, and terms; relay findings to customer procurement representatives.

• Assess pricing and inventory KPI trends, efficiencies, and overall effectiveness.

• Oversee contract terms, assist with brand transitions, and track savings and projects.

• Prepare presentations on project progress, business outcomes, and committee results.

• Examine pricing discrepancies and ensure that new pricing guidelines are reviewed and approved.

• Address inventory surplus, backorder, and outstanding invoice challenges with internal teams.

• Facilitate weekly meetings with supply chain, materials services, and Medline Sales teams.

• Work in conjunction with Sales, IS, and Finance to develop and sustain reporting requirements and ensure accurate, timely data systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in sales analysis and support OR a High School Diploma with at least 5 years of experience in sales analysis and support.

• Proven experience in developing and delivering presentations to diverse audience levels both within and outside the organization.

• Experience in analyzing and reporting data to pinpoint issues, trends, or exceptions, driving improvements and solutions.

• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with individuals across all organizational levels, within the business community, and with vendors.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level.

• Willingness to travel for business-related purposes.

• Preferred: Prior analytics experience within the healthcare sector.

• Preferred: Previous experience in inventory or supply chain analytics.

• Preferred: Experience in providing training and developing process documentation or user manuals.
