This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Become a part of the development team and take charge of work items for implementation during each Sprint.
• Engage in a range of software development activities, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, programming, configuration management, testing, and deployment.
• Prioritize product quality and maintainability.
• Manage your workload effectively and promptly communicate any delays or obstacles to the team.
• Create and sustain features of a solution utilized daily by thousands of users in large enterprises.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Engineering, or another IT-related field; or a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a focus on Information Technology.
• Familiarity with financial systems development.
• Understanding of Agile principles and methodologies, including the Agile Manifesto, Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), and Kanban.
• Knowledge of continuous integration, delivery, and DevOps practices.
• Proficient in tools such as Jenkins, Sonar (SonarQube), Maven, Nexus, and Azure DevOps Services.
• Experience in configuration and change management using ClearCase, SVN, and Git.
• Knowledge and experience in analyzing and specifying functional, non-functional, and Agile requirements.
• Awareness of design patterns and programming best practices.
• Understanding of enterprise system integration and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, relational databases, and SQL.
• Knowledge of MVC, layered applications, multi-tenancy, and responsive interfaces/PWAs.
• Experience with messaging, JMS, Web services, REST, SOA, EJB 3, WebSphere Message Broker, and APIs.
• Proficient in Java for Web, JEE, JSE, MicroProfile, Java 8+, Apache Velocity, Spring, JSF, JPA, and Struts.
• Knowledge of JBoss, WebSphere, Liberty servers, and the Quarkus framework.
• Experience with Linux, SonarQube, Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, Ant, and Apache Maven.
• Familiarity with unit, integration, system/functional, acceptance, load, performance, vulnerability, usability, and accessibility testing.
• Understanding of test automation, JUnit, Selenium WebDriver, JMeter, TDD, and ATDD.
• Skills in building mocks/stubs, refactoring, and reverse engineering.
• Proficient in MUMPS, Caché database, OpenVMS, and/or Linux.
• Desirable knowledge of CICS, CICS/WEB, Broker, MQ Series, SOAP, and APIs.
• Skills in Delphi, Enterprise PowerBuilder, and development for UNIX-like systems.
• Experience with ISO 8583 message routing.
• Familiarity with financial technologies J/XFS and banking automation peripherals.
• Experience with cryptography.
• Desired certifications include Oracle Certified Professional – Java SE Programmer (version 5 or higher), CSD, or PSD.
