This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Monitor and conduct thorough analysis of security alerts utilizing the CrowdStrike platform.
• Implement incident management procedures across Windows, Mac, and Linux environments.
• Execute malware analysis.
• Carry out remote remediation of malware or harmful activities.
• Enhance and refine processes for incident detection, triage, and implementation of countermeasures.
• Generate high-quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings for customer management.
• Exhibit thought leadership in the industry through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and other public speaking opportunities.
• Contribute to the enhancement of security processes and protocols.
• Proven experience in conducting or overseeing incident response for organizations, investigating targeted threats like Advanced Persistent Threats, Organized Crime, and Hacktivists.
• Familiarity with a range of forensic analysis tools in incident response investigations to ascertain the extent and details of compromise.
• Knowledge of system internals to apply and execute countermeasures and remediation strategies.
• Capability to perform both static and dynamic malware analysis.
• Strong comprehension of targeted attacks and the ability to develop customized tactical and strategic remediation plans.
• Proficient in coding with Powershell, C, C#, VB, Python, Perl, Ruby on Rails, and .NET.
• At least one relevant security certification is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Extensive experience with Mac OS, Windows, and Unix operating systems.
• Capacity to manage high-pressure situations productively and professionally.
• Exceptional time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A BA or BS / MA or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Information Security, Information Assurance, Information Security Management, Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity Policy, or equivalent relevant work experience.
