This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee monitoring and conduct thorough analysis of security alerts utilizing the CrowdStrike platform.

• Implement incident handling protocols across Windows, Mac, and Linux environments.

• Carry out malware analysis.

• Execute remote remediation of malware or malicious activities.

• Enhance and refine processes for incident detection, triage, and the implementation of countermeasures.

• Generate high-quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings for customer management.

• Showcase industry thought leadership through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and various public speaking engagements.

• Contribute to the advancement of security processes and procedures.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in incident handling, including managing incident response and investigating targeted threats such as Advanced Persistent Threats, Organized Crime, and Hacktivists.

• Familiarity with forensic analysis tools in incident response investigations to assess the extent and scope of compromises.

• Knowledge of system internals for the application and execution of countermeasures and remediation.

• Capability to perform both static and dynamic malware analysis.

• Profound understanding of targeted attacks and the ability to develop customized tactical and strategic remediation plans.

• Proficient in coding with Powershell, C, C#, VB, Python, Perl, Ruby on Rails, and .NET.

• Possession of at least one relevant security certification.

• Excellent verbal and communication abilities.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities.

• Extensive experience with Mac OS, Windows, and Unix operating systems.

• Capacity to manage high-pressure situations in a constructive and professional manner.

• Effective time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.

• BA or BS / MA or MS degree in a relevant field or equivalent relevant work experience.

• Demonstrated experience in leveraging AI technologies to boost decision-making, optimize workflows and processes, enhance efficiency, and drive business outcomes.
