This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Monitor and conduct thorough analysis of security alerts utilizing the CrowdStrike platform.

• Implement incident handling procedures across Windows, Mac, and Linux environments.

• Execute malware analysis tasks.

• Facilitate remote remediation of malware or other malicious activities.

• Enhance processes for incident detection, triage, and the execution of countermeasures.

• Generate high-quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings for customer management.

• Exhibit industry thought leadership through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and various public speaking engagements.

• Contribute to the advancement of security processes and procedures.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in incident handling, including conducting or managing incident response and investigating targeted threats such as Advanced Persistent Threats, Organized Crime, and Hacktivists.

• Familiarity with forensic analysis tools used in incident response investigations to ascertain the extent and scope of compromises.

• Knowledge of system internals to effectively implement and execute countermeasures and remediation strategies.

• Capability to conduct both static and dynamic malware analysis.

• Strong comprehension of targeted attacks, with the ability to develop tailored tactical and strategic remediation plans.

• Programming or scripting experience in Powershell, C, C#, VB, Python, Perl, Ruby on Rails, and .NET.

• Possession of at least one relevant security certification.

• Excellent verbal and communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Extensive experience with Mac OS, Windows, and Unix operating systems.

• Ability to manage high-pressure situations in a professional and productive manner.

• Strong time management skills with multitasking capability.

• BA or BS / MA or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Information Security, Information Assurance, Information Security Management, Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity Policy, or equivalent relevant work experience.

• Demonstrated experience in leveraging AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes.
