This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Monitor and conduct thorough analysis of security alerts utilizing the CrowdStrike platform.

• Implement incident handling procedures across various platforms including Windows, Mac, and Linux.

• Execute malware analysis tasks.

• Carry out remote remediation of malware or any malicious activities.

• Create and enhance processes for incident detection, triage, and the implementation of countermeasures.

• Generate high-quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings for customer management.

• Exhibit industry thought leadership through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and various public speaking engagements.

• Contribute to the development of security processes and protocols.


⛳️ Requirements

• Ideal candidates will possess experience in one or more areas, including: Incident Handling; Computer Forensic Analysis; Systems Administration; Malware Analysis; Incident Remediation; Programming/Scripting.

• Experience in conducting or managing incident responses for organizations, investigating targeted threats such as Advanced Persistent Threats, Organized Crime, and Hacktivists.

• Familiarity with forensic analysis tools in incident response investigations to assess the extent and scope of compromises.

• Knowledge of system internals to effectively implement and execute countermeasures and remediation strategies.

• Capability to conduct both static and dynamic malware analyses.

• Strong understanding of targeted attacks with the capacity to develop tailored tactical and strategic remediation plans.

• Proficiency in coding with Powershell, C, C#, VB, Python, Perl, Ruby on Rails, and .NET.

• At least one relevant security certification is required.

• Excellent verbal and communication skills are essential.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Extensive experience with Mac OS, Windows, and Unix operating systems.

• Ability to manage high-pressure situations in a constructive and professional manner.

• Strong time management skills with the capability to multitask effectively.

• BA or BS / MA or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Information Security, Information Assurance, Information Security Management, Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity Policy, or equivalent relevant work experience.

• Demonstrated experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes.
