Analyst, Enterprise Data Strategy – Governance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the enterprise data strategy and governance initiatives by analyzing, planning, coordinating with stakeholders, and providing execution support.

• Create presentations, briefing materials, dashboards, reports, and communications tailored for executive and stakeholder audiences.

• Oversee assigned deliverables, milestones, risks, dependencies, and action items across data strategy and governance workstreams.

• Analyze data from various sources and synthesize findings into insights, recommendations, and decision-support materials.

• Identify opportunities to enhance governance processes, reporting capabilities, stakeholder engagement, and operational efficiency.

• Assist in the development, enhancement, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise data governance policies, standards, procedures, and associated artifacts.

• Conduct research and analysis on impacts, gaps, dependencies, and opportunities related to governance, regulatory, and transformation initiatives.

• Document governance requirements, accountability models, ownership structures, decision rights, and operating procedures.

• Contribute to governance reporting, metrics, monitoring, adoption tracking, and compliance support.

• Maintain governance documentation, inventories, repositories, and decision records.

• Organize governance forums, steering committees, working groups, and stakeholder engagements.

• Prepare agendas, meeting materials, action tracking, charters, operating procedures, decision logs, and relevant documentation.

• Collaborate with business, technology, risk, compliance, and data management stakeholders to support governance priorities and address implementation questions.

• Develop communications, training materials, adoption resources, and readiness initiatives.

• Monitor stakeholder feedback, governance results, and adoption trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in enterprise data management, data governance, business analysis, strategy execution, project delivery, risk management, change management, consulting, or related fields.

• Proven experience supporting complex cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholder groups.

• Proficient in developing executive-ready presentations, communications, reports, dashboards, or governance materials.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities, synthesize complex information, and drive tasks to completion with minimal supervision.

• Experience working in highly regulated industries.

• Understanding of risk, compliance, regulatory, audit, and implementation considerations.

• Knowledge of enterprise data management and data governance fundamentals.

• Familiarity with data governance frameworks, ownership, stewardship, and accountability concepts.

• Insight into governance processes, policies, standards, procedures, and controls.

• Experience with program reporting, metrics, scorecards, dashboards, and executive communications.

• Skills in stakeholder engagement, change management, and business adoption support.

• Proficient in strategic analysis, problem-solving, and business case development.

• Ability to independently manage deliverables, coordinate stakeholders, facilitate working sessions, structure ambiguous problems, and translate complex information into clear recommendations and actionable outcomes.
