This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Become a key member of the development team, taking responsibility for development tasks in each Sprint.
• Engage in a variety of software development activities, prioritizing quality and maintainability, including requirement gathering, analysis and design, programming, configuration management, testing, and deployment.
• Independently manage your workload, promptly communicating any delays or obstacles to the team.
• Create new features for a resilient, scalable product that influences thousands of users across large enterprises.
• Contribute to the development and integration of financial systems, microservices, web applications, and associated technologies.
• A Bachelor's degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or other IT-related disciplines.
• Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in any field with a focus on Information Technology.
• Preferred certifications include Oracle Certified Professional – Java SE Programmer (version 5 or higher), CSD, or PSD.
• Familiarity with financial systems development.
• Understanding of agile development methodologies, including the Agile Manifesto, Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), and Kanban.
• Knowledge of continuous integration, delivery, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, Nexus, and Azure DevOps Services.
• Proficiency in version control systems such as ClearCase, SVN, and Git.
• Knowledge of functional, non-functional, and agile requirements.
• Understanding of design patterns, programming best practices, and enterprise systems integration.
• Familiarity with microservices, APIs, tracing, fault tolerance, metrics, and health checks.
• Experience in development using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Skills in relational data modeling, SQL, MVC, and layered architecture.
• Knowledge of messaging systems, JMS, web services (REST, SOA), EJB 3, and WebSphere Message Broker.
• Proficiency in Java, JEE, JSE, MicroProfile, Spring, JSF, JPA, Struts, and Apache Velocity.
• Familiarity with application servers such as JBoss, WebSphere, Liberty, and the Quarkus framework.
• Experience with Linux, SonarQube, Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, Ant, and Apache Maven.
• Proficient in JavaScript, ECMAScript, Ajax, jQuery, Angular, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, ASP, and .NET.
• Knowledge of various testing methodologies including unit, integration, system, acceptance, load, performance, vulnerability, usability, and accessibility testing.
• Experience with JUnit, Selenium WebDriver, and JMeter.
• Familiarity with mocks/stubs, refactoring, TDD, ATDD, and continuous delivery.
• Skills in MUMPS, Caché, OpenVMS, and/or Linux.
• Desirable knowledge of CICS, CICS/WEB, Broker, MQ Series, SOAP, and APIs.
• Skills in Delphi, Enterprise PowerBuilder, and UNIX-like systems.
• Experience with ISO 8583 message routing.
• Background in financial technologies such as J/XFS and peripheral integration.
