Ambulatory Risk Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify, investigate, and analyze adverse events, near misses, and potential liability exposure.

• Participate in the relevant medical group/ministry event reporting core team and Serious Event Review team(s).

• Assess risk management functions and processes through data collection, follow-up, and trend analysis.

• Present findings to the appropriate committees.

• Gather, evaluate, and disseminate pertinent data regarding patient, visitor, and environmental injuries and near misses.

• Compile summaries for committee reviews.

• Assist in the development and implementation of initiatives, policies, and procedures.

• Support education activities for associates and Physician/APP, the Provider Associate Care Team (PACT) program, and other risk reduction or elimination efforts.

• Assist in responding to product and safety recalls and alerts.

• Facilitate safe medical device reporting of adverse events.

• Promote the organization's risk management goals, strategies, and processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR an Associate's/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of relevant cumulative job-specific experience required.

• 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

• Prior experience in risk management.

• Ambulatory experience preferred.

• Willingness to travel regularly to Tennessee.

• No specific credential or licensure required.
