Alternate Program Manager – AFCAP VI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist the Program Manager in overseeing and executing the requirements of the AFCAP VI contract.

• Aid in the management of various government task orders related to engineering, construction, services, or commodities.

• Organize program operations, allocate resources, manage staffing, and coordinate subcontractor activities.

• Ensure compliance with government acquisition regulations, appropriations, and contract stipulations.

• Track task order performance, schedules, costs, and quality standards.

• Help maintain readiness for worldwide contingency and urgent mission needs.

• Liaise with government representatives, subcontractors, and internal program staff.

• Assist in program planning, reporting, risk assessment, and maintaining operational continuity.

• Take on assigned Program Manager duties when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance is required.

• At least two (2) years of program management experience within the last seven (7) years.

• Proven experience and knowledge in government appropriations.

• Proven experience and knowledge in government acquisitions.

• Background in engineering, construction, services, or commodities.

• Experience managing multiple task orders with values over $400,000.

• Ability to provide a comprehensive resume detailing relevant program management duties, task order values, project scopes, and performance dates.

• Previous involvement with AFCAP, LOGCAP, or similar Department of Defense contingency programs is preferred.

• Experience with U.S. Air Force or other DoD contracts is preferred.

• Familiarity with base operating support, logistics, and contingency operations is preferred.

• Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing geographically distributed project teams is preferred.

• Background in supporting domestic or international military operations is preferred.

• Candidates selected for proposal consideration must be prepared to provide documentation supporting their qualifications and active Secret security clearance.

• A signed Letter of Intent will be necessary for inclusion as proposed key personnel in the AFCAP VI contract submission.
