This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish and enhance relationships with key benefits consulting firms as WellTheory's main liaison for benefit consultants and account teams.

• Create a strategy for engaging with consulting houses, including prioritization of firms and practices, methods of engagement, and relevant content.

• Showcase WellTheory's model and outcomes data to consultants and practice leaders.

• Represent WellTheory at industry events attended by consultants.

• Collaborate with Marketing to design materials for consultants that differ from those aimed at employers.

• Ensure the sales team and consultants are equipped with up-to-date and relevant information about WellTheory for their clients.

• Relay consultant feedback, market insights, and partnership opportunities back to the team.

• Organize consultant dinners, lunch-and-learn sessions, conference activities, and follow-ups.

• Maintain current records in CRM and document deal progress accurately.

• Initially report to the CEO, then transition to reporting to the Head of Commercial.


⛳️ Requirements

• 5–10+ years of experience in benefits consulting, consultant relations, or partnerships in a digital health organization.

• Extensive knowledge of the benefits consulting landscape and the structure of consulting firms.

• Proven track record in establishing a category and educating markets on new care models.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong presentation and storytelling capabilities.

• Proficient in crafting persuasive emails and proposals.

• Comfortable operating in a dynamic, high-growth startup environment.

• Willingness to engage in hands-on work and manage both complex and simple tasks.

• Adopts a consultative partnership approach.

• Creative, agile, proactive, resourceful, and adept at making sound judgments.

• Highly organized and diligent in coordinating events and follow-ups.

• Capable of maintaining current records in CRM and documenting deal progress.

• Prepared to travel approximately 50% of the time, with some periods extending to 75%.

• Possesses deep empathy for individuals living with autoimmune conditions.

• Embraces a beginner's mindset and is eager to learn.

• Demonstrates persistence and resilience.

• Previous experience at a benefits consulting firm is advantageous.

• Experience in sales at a top-tier digital health company is beneficial.
