This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Address and resolve issues within accounts by offering effective, customized solutions.
• Develop strategic territory plans that align with shared goals.
• Promote product demand and enhance patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with territory colleagues, field teams, and home-office staff.
• Utilize knowledge of the market, competitive landscape, and cross-functional areas to identify opportunities and tackle challenges.
• Analyze territory data and market trends to derive local insights.
• Assist in pull-through initiatives and lead customer interactions both virtually and in person.
• Organize planning sessions with key stakeholders.
• Work alongside various functions to fulfill customer requirements.
• Provide real-time access support.
• Partner closely with Patient Specialty Services to guarantee a smooth customer experience.
• Leverage digital tools and omni-channel strategies to tailor outreach efforts.
• Interact with customers through both virtual and in-person meetings.
• A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is required.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similar industries with large, geographically diverse sales teams in the past five years, or experience in complex sales environments such as medical devices, diagnostics, life sciences services, insurance, consumer health, or B2B sectors.
• A proven history of consistently high performance.
• Experience in navigating and selling to major accounts and key clients.
• Analytical skills to identify, prioritize, and apply relevant information for problem-solving.
• Ethical leadership capabilities and the ability to cultivate an environment that encourages ethical behavior and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Must live within the designated territory or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 50 miles from the territory border.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% across a wide geographic area.
• Capability to drive and/or fly within the territory.
• A valid, unrestricted driver’s license is required.
• Associate level: Recently transitioned from the US Military with 4+ years of military service in a leadership role, or limited prior sales experience.
• Territory Account Specialist: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a relevant sales position within the last 5 years.
• Senior Territory Account Specialist: At least 5 years’ experience in a relevant sales role within the last 5 years.
• Executive Territory Account Specialist: Over 10 years’ experience in a relevant sales position within the last 5 years.
• Ability to collaborate and function effectively within a cross-functional matrix environment.
• Proficient in communicating clinical product information clearly.
• Must successfully complete initial training, which includes home study of eight or fewer hours per day and forty or fewer hours per week.
