This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
β’ Engage in and oversee the comprehensive lifecycle of biosignal-based algorithm development for medical devices, encompassing requirements gathering, data curation and labeling, development, failure analysis, production, maintenance, and documentation.
β’ Choose, implement, and develop suitable methods for each challenge, including identifying when deep learning or alternative techniques are most effective.
β’ Enhance internal deep learning and machine learning tools to boost team productivity.
β’ Introduce model architectures and algorithmic approaches while refining the codebase for reusability and swift experimentation.
β’ Advance algorithm implementation best practices, including unit tests, documentation, continuous integration, and non-regression testing.
β’ Present findings to key stakeholders and support algorithm utilization for client engagement.
β’ Assist with client-facing projects and help influence the effectiveness of current and future Beacon algorithms for customers.
β’ Over 4 years of professional experience in machine learning and deep learning, especially in health sciences or other regulated sectors.
β’ Demonstrated success in deploying algorithms into production.
β’ Experience with digital signal processing (DSP) and statistical analysis.
β’ Proficiency in PyTorch or other deep learning frameworks.
β’ Awareness of current advancements in deep learning, including Transformer/ViT, large-scale modeling, and extensive model training.
β’ Adherence to best practices in software and machine learning engineering, including testing, version control, code reviews, documentation, Dockerization, continuous integration/deployment, and experiment tracking.
β’ Familiarity with biosignals, medical imaging data, or large time-series datasets, or a keen interest in expanding knowledge in this area.
β’ Capability to distill, discuss, and present intricate technical topics effectively to both internal and external audiences.
β’ Willingness to engage in the entire algorithm development lifecycle, including formal validation, quality/regulatory documentation, production deployment, and client engagement.
