This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Engage in discussions with language models regarding scenarios in the Alentejano language.

• Ensure the accuracy of facts and the logical integrity of information.

• Document reproducible error traces and outline the failure modes of the models.

• Propose enhancements to prompt engineering and evaluation criteria.

• Test advanced language models on aspects of Alentejano including grammar, syntax, morphology, phonology, semantics, and pragmatics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in the Alentejano language.

• Native-level proficiency in Alentejano.

• In-depth, practical knowledge of Alentejano grammar, syntax, morphology, phonology, semantics, and pragmatics.

• Capability to assess verb conjugation, case systems, word order, declensions, gender, and stylistic variations.

• Strong metacognitive communication skills and the ability to demonstrate your reasoning.

• Significant experience in teaching, translation, or community-based linguistic initiatives may substitute for formal academic qualifications.
