AIS Radiologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct remote reviews, evaluations, and interpretations of radiographs, ultrasound, MRI, CT, and other digitally submitted diagnostic images.

• Utilize voice dictation software to create diagnostic imaging reports.

• Collaborate with peers through the AIS chat platform.

• Consult with clients and veterinary professionals via phone, email, Zoom, MS Teams, and other communication channels.

• Engage with AIS technical support and other staff members.

• Participate in AIS clinic rounds, journal clubs, employee meetings, and professional development activities.

• Involve in ACVR and other continuing education opportunities.

• Take part in quality control initiatives.

• Maintain expertise in clinical diagnostic skills and stay updated on diagnostic methods, theories, and treatments.

• Assist with veterinary teleradiology responsibilities.

• Contribute to enterprise initiatives and special projects as assigned.

• Adhere to company ethical standards and report any policy or ethical concerns.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or its equivalent.

• Diplomate status from the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) or the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (EVDI).

• Proficient in interpreting radiographs, ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and nuclear medicine.

• Must hold a valid license to practice veterinary medicine in the respective state.

• Proficiency in the English language.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong dedication to the highest standards of medical quality and veterinary ethics.

• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Capacity to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team, with clients, and alongside management.

• Ability to work efficiently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
