This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Conduct remote reviews, evaluations, and interpretations of radiographs, ultrasounds, MRIs, CT scans, and other digitally submitted diagnostic images.
• Generate diagnostic imaging reports using voice dictation software.
• Collaborate with peers via the AIS chat group.
• Consult with clients and veterinary professionals through phone, email, Zoom, MS Teams, and various other communication methods.
• Engage with AIS technical support and other staff members.
• Take part in AIS clinic rounds, journal clubs, employee meetings, and professional development activities.
• Participate in ACVR continuing education and other relevant CE opportunities.
• Contribute to quality control programs.
• Maintain proficiency in clinical diagnostic skills and stay updated on veterinary diagnostic theories, methodologies, and treatments.
• Support veterinary teleradiology functions.
• Engage in enterprise initiatives and special projects as assigned.
• Adhere to organizational ethical standards and report any policy or ethical concerns.
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or its equivalent.
• Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) or the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (EVDI).
• Proficient in interpreting radiographs, ultrasounds, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and nuclear medicine.
• Must hold a valid license to practice veterinary medicine in the relevant state.
• Fluent in English.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong dedication to upholding the highest standards of medical quality and the veterinary code of ethics.
• Possess analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Capable of working effectively within a team, with clients, and with management.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
