This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Review, assess, and interpret radiographs, ultrasound, MRI, CT, and other diagnostic images submitted through digital means while working remotely.
• Generate diagnostic imaging reports utilizing voice dictation software.
• Engage in collaborative communication with colleagues via the AIS chat group.
• Consult with clients and veterinary professionals through phone, email, Zoom, MS Teams, and additional communication channels.
• Interact with AIS technical support and other staff members.
• Contribute to AIS clinic rounds, journal clubs, employee meetings, and professional development activities.
• Engage in ACVR continuing education and other relevant CE events.
• Participate in quality control initiatives.
• Maintain proficiency in clinical diagnostic skills while staying updated on theories, diagnostic techniques, and treatment options.
• Assist with various veterinary teleradiology responsibilities.
• Contribute to enterprise initiatives and special projects as assigned.
• Adhere to ethical standards, organizational values, and company policies.
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or its equivalent.
• Diplomate status with the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) or the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (EVDI).
• Proficiency in interpreting radiographs, ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and nuclear medicine.
• Must hold a valid license to practice veterinary medicine in the respective state.
• Proficient in the English language.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong dedication to maintaining the highest standards of medical quality and adhering to the veterinary code of ethics.
• Possess analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Capability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team, with clients, and with management.
• Ability to work efficiently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
