Airport Planning, Environmental Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance Airport Capital Improvement Plans as well as inputs for airport layout plans.

• Assist with the planning and justification of FAA/state AIP grants.

• Oversee NEPA environmental documentation related to airport projects.

• Collaborate with FAA ADO and state aviation authorities.

• Provide qualifications and narratives of past performance for AlphaGov proposals when permitted.

• Participate in ongoing municipal airport planning and environmental consulting initiatives.

• Work remotely while occasionally traveling to meet with clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in airport planning or environmental work related to airports.

• Familiarity with FAA AIP, ACIP, ALP, and NEPA (FAA Order 1050.1F).

• Aptitude for working as a 1099 project-based consultant.

• Experience with general aviation airports in the Southeast is a plus.

• Possession of PE or AICP credentials is advantageous.

• GIS skills are considered a bonus.
