This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop inventories for air quality and GHG emissions, along with the creation of mitigation strategies and reports for air quality and GHG impact assessments.

• Play a role in formulating climate action plans and associated climate action and adaptation strategies.

• Conduct analyses on energy impacts.

• After receiving internal mentoring, execute air dispersion modeling and health risk assessments (HRAs).

• Convey complex analytical findings to clients, the general public, and decision-makers.

• Operate independently while also engaging in team brainstorming and mentoring sessions.

• Handle multiple projects at once and collaborate directly with clients and project managers.

• Utilize scientific data and innovative problem-solving techniques.

• Efficiently manage your time to adhere to deadlines.

• Participate in project site visits in outdoor settings.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science/Studies, Earth Science, Atmospheric Science/Meteorology, Engineering, or a related field is essential, or equivalent work experience or training in an environmental discipline may be accepted.

• A passion for learning about air quality and GHG emissions analyses and climate action planning; prior experience is advantageous.

• Excellent communication, writing, and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong technical skills to quickly grasp analytical processes.

• Capability to work collaboratively and contribute to the team’s success.

• A pre-employment drug screening and background check are mandatory.

• Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
