AI/LLM Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with stakeholders to pinpoint AI use cases, outline requirements, and set measurable success criteria.

• Design and execute solutions utilizing large language models (LLMs), generative AI, and associated technologies.

• Assist in the deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of applications powered by AI.

• Partner with technical and functional teams to integrate user feedback and transition successful pilot projects into operational capabilities.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Over 5 years of relevant experience.

• Experience in developing applications that leverage AI and LLM technologies.

• Solid background in software engineering and application development.

• Familiarity with supporting solution design, testing, deployment, and integration efforts.

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while supporting both technical and functional stakeholders.

• Must meet Security Eligibility requirements.

• Experience with TSA is highly desirable.

• DHS public trust is strongly preferred and will be given priority.

• Proficiency in Python.

• Knowledge of AWS serverless architectures.

• Familiarity with Amazon Bedrock.

• Experience with large language models.

• Skills in prompt engineering and model evaluation.

• Expertise in API development and integration.

• Proven experience in developing production-ready AI applications.

• Familiarity with AI-enabled development tools, such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar technologies.
