AI Tutor – Oromo

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Assist in training and enhancing Grok's voice and language skills in Oromo.

• Influence Grok's pronunciation, natural speech patterns, and cultural understanding in Oromo.

• Use proprietary tools to annotate, label, and provide feedback on multilingual audio clips, voice recordings, and speech samples.

• Translate and localize user interface text, prompts, responses, and other materials from English to Oromo.

• Generate clear and natural audio data that captures intonation, rhythm, accent, and various linguistic and prosodic features.

• Work alongside technical staff to improve annotation guidelines and tools addressing accents, background noise, speech variations, and multilingual audio.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Oromo at CEFR C1 level or higher.

• Proficiency in English at CEFR B2 level or higher.

• Remote work must be conducted from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, or Australia.

• Visa sponsorship is not available.

• Travel to a SpaceXSI site may be necessary.

• For candidates based in the US, hiring is not available in Wyoming or Illinois.

• Preferred: Native proficiency in Oromo.

• Preferred: English proficiency at CEFR C1 level or higher.

• Preferred experience in advanced transcription or audio annotation.

• Preferred experience in translation or localization between English and Oromo.

• Preferred experience in voice recording, voice acting, podcasting, or related audio production.

• Preferred educational background in linguistics, phonetics, speech sciences, or experience with speech/audio datasets and AI training data.
