This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Assist in training and enhancing Grok’s voice and language functionalities in Icelandic

• Annotate, label, and offer feedback on multilingual audio segments, voice recordings, and speech samples utilizing proprietary tools

• Translate and adapt UI text, prompts, responses, and other materials from English to Icelandic

• Generate clear, natural audio data that captures intonation, rhythm, accent, and other linguistic and prosodic nuances

• Work alongside technical personnel to improve annotation guidelines and tools for accents, background noise, speech variation, and multilingual audio

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Icelandic at CEFR C1 level or above

• Proficiency in English at CEFR B2 level or above

• Eligibility for remote work in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, or Australia

• Visa sponsorship is not available

• For candidates based in the US, hiring is not possible in Wyoming and Illinois

• Preferred: Native-level proficiency in Icelandic

• Preferred: Proficiency in English at CEFR C1 level or above

• Preferred experience in advanced transcription or audio annotation

• Preferred experience in translation or localization between English and Icelandic

• Preferred experience in voice recording, voice acting, podcasting, or related audio production

• Preferred educational background in linguistics, phonetics, speech sciences, speech/audio datasets, or AI training data
