AI Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take the lead on Frontier AI projects as the technical authority during customer engagements, managing solutions from inception to completion.

• Provide guidance to Forward Deployed Engineers in executing customer solutions.

• Collaborate closely with clients and senior stakeholders to grasp business challenges and desired outcomes.

• Establish architectural principles and define strategic direction.

• Supervise the deployment, configuration, and integration of Actonomy products within client environments.

• Address technical challenges that arise during the implementation phase.

• Offer technical guidance, support, and line management to Forward Deployed Engineers.

• Collect user feedback and convert customer requirements into product enhancements in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams.

• Develop reusable deployment methodologies and implementation assets.

• Assist in customer adoption and value realization initiatives.

• Keep abreast of advancements in AI, Microsoft technologies, and the Actonomy platform.

• Share expertise with team members and clients.

• Cultivate customer relationships and aid in account management.

• Manage, coach, and develop team members with a focus on performance and career progression.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in leading the delivery of production AI solutions across a variety of challenges and project scopes.

• Experience serving as the technical lead on customer-centric projects, preferably involving the deployment of software products or platforms in client settings.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Python and public cloud infrastructures, particularly Azure, encompassing SaaS and PaaS offerings.

• Practical experience with contemporary AI, including large language models and agentic AI: prompt engineering, RAG, tool and function calling, and orchestration.

• Familiarity with the Microsoft AI stack, which includes Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, and Azure AI services.

• Proven ownership of AI products or software projects, covering aspects such as architecture, estimation, product planning, and user story/requirement development.

• Capability to comprehend a holistic solution architecture and effectively communicate and negotiate it with senior and C-level stakeholders, including commercial aspects.

• Proficiency in articulating AI design clearly in discussions, documentation, and presentations aimed at non-engineers.

• Comfortable engaging directly with clients and users, fostering relationships, and assisting in account management.

• Experience in integrating products or solutions with customer systems and data sources, resolving technical issues during the implementation process.

• Ability to prioritize effectively across multiple significant projects and deadlines.

• Proven track record in managing, mentoring, coaching, and developing team members and the broader community, including overseeing a small team.

• Experience with React or similar technologies.

• Familiarity with the Microsoft agent ecosystem.

• Experience in creating reusable deployment methodologies and implementation assets.

• Background in consulting, customer-facing, or delivery roles.

• Awareness of responsible AI and AI evaluation practices.

• Active involvement in technology communities and knowledge sharing, both internally and externally.
