AI Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Create comprehensive AI solutions, including Generative AI applications, LLM-driven workflows, intelligent agents, RAG solutions, virtual assistants, and intelligent automation.

• Convert business needs into technical frameworks by choosing models, services, data sources, integrations, and infrastructure.

• Develop and assess prototypes and proofs of concept.

• Work in conjunction with AI engineers, software developers, data scientists, and data engineers to transition solutions from prototype to production.

• Design agentic solutions that encompass tool calling, orchestration, memory, retrieval, and human-in-the-loop patterns.

• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, data platforms, vector databases, and cloud services.

• Create reusable AI components, services, APIs, and architectural frameworks.

• Assess and recommend AI models, frameworks, and platforms based on criteria such as performance, scalability, security, and cost.

• Incorporate Responsible AI, security, privacy, and compliance into designs in collaboration with relevant enterprise teams.

• Assist in establishing evaluation, monitoring, observability, and LLMOps practices.

• Document architectures, technical choices, integration patterns, and implementation guidelines.

• Monitor advancements in Generative AI, agentic AI, and cloud AI platforms to identify significant applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Data Science, AI, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

• Over 6 years of experience in software engineering, solution or cloud engineering, data/AI engineering, or solution architecture.

• Practical experience in designing and developing AI/ML or Generative AI solutions.

• Strong working knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector search, and AI agents.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.

• Proficient in designing and integrating APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.

• Strong Python programming skills with the ability to develop prototypes and reference implementations.

• Good understanding of version control, testing, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.

• Knowledge of AI security, data privacy, Responsible AI, and governance in enterprise environments.

• Strong analytical abilities and capacity to explain technical trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary, distributed teams.

• Proficient in English (both written and spoken) and Spanish.

• Knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.

• Preferred experience with Azure AI Foundry/Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or similar enterprise GenAI platforms.

• Preferred familiarity with LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or CrewAI.

• Preferred experience in end-to-end RAG implementation.

• Preferred experience with Azure AI Search or other vector database/enterprise search technologies.

• Preferred LLMOps experience.

• Preferred knowledge of modern data platforms like Snowflake.

• Preferred experience with containers, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code.

• Preferred experience in healthcare, life sciences, MedTech, financial services, or other regulated sectors.

• Preferred cloud, AI, or architecture certifications.
