AI Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop, sustain, and integrate augmented reality and content lifecycle management solutions tailored for clients in the aviation and aerospace manufacturing sectors.

• Investigate and test cutting-edge techniques and methodologies for leveraging AI in software development.

• Lead the implementation of AI practices and standards throughout the organization.

• Incorporate AI functionalities and capabilities into software offerings.

• Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure the successful completion of projects.

• Grasp project requirements and provide estimates on timelines to effectively manage deliverables.

• Utilize Agile methodologies and Test Driven Development best practices.

• Write code to fulfill project requirements within a TDD framework.

• Refactor existing code to enhance its quality.

• Adhere to established coding standards and technology best practices.

• Monitor progress using JIRA or similar task management tools.

• Comply with Quality Management System, Information Security Management System, and Privacy Information Management System standards.

• Undertake other assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software application development.

• Extensive knowledge of AI, including its advantages and limitations.

• Familiarity with methods and tools for gathering requirements.

• Proficiency in programming with Java and JavaScript.

• A solid conceptual understanding of Web Application Development Technologies.

• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles.

• Experience with a variety of programming languages.

• Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficient knowledge of code versioning tools and continuous integration practices.

• Good comprehension of the Agile process.

• Must be a permanent resident or citizen of Canada.

• Familiarity with airline publishing specifications S1000D and ATA iSpec2200 is advantageous.
