AI Security Engineer / Offensive Security Engineer – Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Engage in ongoing red-team assessments of the company's products, infrastructure, APIs, and agentic systems.

• Detect and replicate vulnerabilities, collaborating with engineering teams for effective remediation.

• Evaluate AI-specific attack vectors such as prompt injection, tool misuse, data leakage, permission escalation, memory poisoning, and unsafe agent behavior.

• Employ agents, automation, and security tools to consistently probe systems and reveal weaknesses.

• Prioritize findings based on exploitability, user impact, and associated business risk.

• Enhance security measures including authentication, authorization, identity management, secrets management, data boundaries, and infrastructure security.

• Develop lightweight monitoring, testing, and defensive systems that evolve alongside the product.

• Assist in establishing practical security standards and development methodologies without imposing unnecessary processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in application, product, cloud, or offensive security.

• Proficient in identifying, exploiting, debugging, and resolving vulnerabilities.

• Strong grasp of contemporary web architecture, APIs, authentication/authorization, cloud infrastructure, and data security.

• Solid engineering principles and coding skills to create security tools, automation, and solutions.

• Awareness of AI/LLM security challenges and a keen interest in securing agentic systems.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, zero-to-one environment.

• Practical judgment and the capability to implement established security best practices.

• Experience in red-teaming LLM or agent systems, developing automated security testing frameworks, or working on products involving sensitive identity, memory, permissions, or user data is highly advantageous.

• Must be based in Latin America.
