AI Security Engineer, Offensive Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Continuously conduct red teaming on the company's products, infrastructure, APIs, and agentic systems.

• Identify and replicate vulnerabilities, collaborating with engineers for remediation.

• Test AI-specific attack surfaces, including prompt injection, tool misuse, data leakage, permission escalation, memory poisoning, and unsafe agent behavior.

• Utilize agents, automation, and security tools to probe systems continuously and reveal weaknesses.

• Prioritize findings based on exploitability, user impact, and business risk.

• Enhance security measures for authentication, authorization, identity management, secrets management, data boundaries, and infrastructure security.

• Create lightweight monitoring, testing, and defensive systems that evolve as the product matures.

• Assist in establishing practical security standards and development practices without adding unnecessary processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in application, product, cloud, or offensive security.

• Practical skills in identifying, exploiting, debugging, and remediating vulnerabilities.

• Strong understanding of modern web architecture, APIs, authentication/authorization, cloud infrastructure, and data security.

• Solid engineering fundamentals and coding skills to develop security tools, automation, and solutions.

• Familiarity with AI/LLM security risks and a keen interest in securing agentic systems.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, zero-to-one environment.

• Pragmatic judgment in applying established security best practices.

• Experience in red teaming LLM or agent systems, building automated security testing infrastructure, or working on products involving sensitive identity, memory, permissions, or user data is particularly advantageous.

• Must be located in Latin America.
