AI Product Quality Specialist – Contractor

📋 Description

• Assess and resolve product-related issues submitted by users.

• Regularly engage with the codebase, implement fixes, and verify them prior to release.

• Analyze user feedback to uncover root causes and prioritize issues accordingly.

• Oversee product quality and user experience across various offerings.

• Detect trends and systemic problems before they escalate.

• Conduct tests on changes, evaluate relevant edge cases, and verify reported workflows prior to resolution.

• Utilize Claude Code and other AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency.

• Provide clear and specific updates regarding broken, fixed, and pending issues.

• Record fixes, edge cases, and recurring issues to cultivate organizational knowledge.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in software products within a QA, product, or technical support capacity.

• Familiarity with building or experimenting using Claude Code.

• Comprehension of employing AI tools to expedite real work processes.

• Proven ability to resolve product issues swiftly and autonomously.

• Skill in interpreting user feedback and distinguishing significant problems from trivial ones.

• Adequate UX knowledge to recognize genuine user challenges.

• Strong written communication skills and capability to escalate issues effectively.

• Comfort in working without a detailed process and establishing a system for managing tasks.

• Attributes of accountability, curiosity, and a builder-first approach.

• Capacity to act quickly and stay responsive during active sprints.

• Must be based in the US or Canada.
