AI Product Quality Specialist – Contractor

📋 Description

• Assess and address product issues reported by users.

• Engage with the codebase, implement fixes, and validate solutions prior to release.

• Analyze user feedback to uncover root causes and prioritize issues accordingly.

• Oversee product quality and user experience across various offerings.

• Detect patterns and systemic problems before they escalate.

• Test modifications, evaluate relevant edge cases, and confirm reported workflows prior to resolving issues.

• Utilize Claude Code and other AI tools to expedite issue resolution.

• Provide clear and specific updates regarding unresolved, fixed, and outstanding issues.

• Document resolutions, edge cases, and recurring problems to enhance institutional knowledge.

• Opportunity to transition into direct product development and client-facing roles based on performance and business requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in software products within a QA, product, or technical support capacity.

• Familiarity with building or experimenting with Claude Code.

• Knowledge of leveraging AI tools to accelerate practical work.

• Proven ability to resolve product issues swiftly and independently.

• Capacity to interpret user feedback and identify significant product challenges.

• Adequate understanding of UX to differentiate genuine problems from non-issues.

• Strong written communication skills and effective escalation of issues.

• Ability to operate without a detailed process and develop an independent system for managing tasks.

• Must reside in the US or Canada.

• Willingness to remain responsive during active sprints.

• Demonstrates accountability, curiosity, and a builder-first approach.
