AI Product Quality Specialist – Contractor

📋 Description

• Assess and address product issues reported by users.

• Regularly engage with the codebase, implementing fixes and validating them prior to release.

• Analyze user feedback to uncover fundamental issues and prioritize them effectively.

• Oversee product quality and user experience across various offerings.

• Detect patterns and systemic issues before they escalate.

• Conduct tests on changes, examine relevant edge cases, and verify reported workflows prior to resolution.

• Utilize Claude Code and other AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency.

• Keep team members updated with succinct reports on broken, fixed, and outstanding issues.

• Document resolutions, edge cases, and recurring issues to foster institutional knowledge.

• Possibility to advance into direct product development and client-facing solutions work based on performance and business requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidate must be based in the US or Canada.

• Practical experience in software products within a QA, product, or technical support capacity.

• Familiarity with Claude Code and experience applying AI tools in a professional setting.

• Proven ability to resolve product issues swiftly and autonomously.

• Skill in interpreting user feedback to differentiate significant problems from minor noise.

• Adequate understanding of UX to recognize authentic user experience issues.

• Strong written communication skills and the ability to effectively escalate issues.

• Comfortable working autonomously without a detailed process, creating a self-managed workload system.

• Capability to act swiftly and remain flexible during active sprints.

• Accountability, curiosity, and a proactive mindset geared towards building solutions.
