This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in establishing ePlus AI priorities and assess internal AI use cases by ranking them.
• Promote responsible AI practices through education, guidance, and governance initiatives.
• Lead and mentor presales professionals focused on AI while actively engaging in critical customer projects.
• Facilitate collaboration among sales, delivery, business teams, architects, engineers, consultants, and technology partners.
• Provide strategic advice to customer executives, business leaders, and technical teams regarding AI solutions.
• Transform business challenges into AI recommendations, actionable roadmaps, and viable solution options.
• Conduct executive briefings, discovery workshops, and strategic customer planning sessions.
• Evaluate opportunities, tailor solutions, and assist in complex sales processes.
• Align customer requirements with ePlus services and partner technologies.
• Represent ePlus at customer events, executive briefings, partner programs, webinars, and conferences.
• Develop presentations, demonstrations, and educational content to clarify complex AI topics.
• Navigate AI concepts from use-case definition to prototyping, business case development, and delivery planning.
• Construct secure and practical solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams and partners.
• Guide discovery processes, shape architectural designs, support demonstrations and proof of concepts, and evaluate design decisions.
• Convert successful initiatives into repeatable ePlus offerings, sales strategies, reference architectures, and team resources.
• Review designs, proposals, Statements of Work, and project scopes for accuracy and completeness.
• Develop regional plans aimed at expanding the AI business and propose technology investment recommendations.
• Maintain strong relationships with AI technology partners and vendors.
• Monitor the AI pipeline, track opportunity progress, win rates, and revenue metrics.
• Enhance presales processes, tools, training, and reporting mechanisms.
• Stay up to date with advancements in AI technologies, cloud platforms, security practices, governance, and market trends.
• Complete required training and uphold relevant certifications.
• Share technical expertise and market insights with engineering and presales teams.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in presales engineering, solutions architecture, consulting, or technical sales.
• At least 3 years of experience in leading, mentoring, or managing technical presales, engineering, or architecture teams.
• Proven experience in designing, positioning, or implementing AI, machine learning, data analytics, automation, cloud, or related technology solutions.
• Experience collaborating with enterprise sales teams to achieve technical wins and drive revenue growth.
• Strong understanding of generative AI, large language models, AI infrastructure, data platforms, and AI governance principles.
• Executive presence with the ability to articulate complex technical and business concepts to customer executives, technical audiences, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead by example while influencing across functions, mentoring technical talent, and remaining hands-on.
• Experience transitioning AI initiatives from initial use case development to prototyping, business case formulation, and broader implementation.
• Preferred: experience in leading presales teams and developing AI solutions.
• Preferred: hands-on experience with Microsoft AI, Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI, NVIDIA, AWS, Google Cloud AI, or other prominent AI platforms.
• Preferred: experience in creating AI business cases and implementation roadmaps.
• Preferred: relevant certifications in AI, cloud computing, architecture, or data technologies.
