AI Platform Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee platform configurations, integrations, and resource distributions for development teams.

• Implement and maintain authentication and authorization middleware for AI agents and services.

• Standardize the design of Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, deployment templates, and infrastructure-as-code methodologies.

• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for AI agent, MCP, and/or AI model deployments utilizing GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.

• Define the architectural patterns and standards for deploying AI agents across platforms such as Azure Foundry, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Copilot Cowork, Snowflake Cortex AI, and Claude.

• Create and document reusable playbooks and modular workflows for developing agentic AI solutions.

• Architect Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agent infrastructure on cloud-based AI development platforms.

• Contribute to the enterprise AI gateway, including MCP registry, LLM traffic management, observability, rate limiting, data redaction, and access control.

• Assist in formulating the enterprise connector/integration strategy that links AI tools with core business systems.

• Lead architecture evaluations for the deployment of AI agent and enterprise copilot tools.

• Participate in AI governance and risk-review processes, which include assessing new LLMs and reviewing requests for AI tools and connectors.

• Collaborate with security, legal, and compliance teams to establish AI risk frameworks, policies, and data governance standards.

• Support enterprise AI literacy, training tracking, and reporting initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in AI/ML or platform engineering, with practical experience in deploying AI systems within an enterprise setting.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Essential hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure AI Foundry.

• Additional experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Copilot Cowork, Snowflake Cortex AI, and Claude is preferred.

• Proficient in Python and SQL.

• Practical experience in building and deploying AI Agents and MCP Servers.

• Experience in designing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code.

• Some hands-on experience in setting up authentication and authorization mechanisms.

• Experience in creating custom RAG pipelines.

• Knowledge of AI governance and risk frameworks.

• Understanding of API and connector integration patterns for enterprise systems.

• Strong collaborative and communication abilities, capable of working across both technical and business teams.

• Analytical mindset focused on achieving measurable business outcomes.
