AI Operations Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Supervise a compact IT AI Operations team that supports the AFS Service Desk.

• Assess and enhance AI capabilities.

• Develop and refine actionable reporting and dashboards.

• Establish and manage operational processes derived from reporting and dashboard results.

• Propel AI solution improvements from conception to execution.

• Partner with technical teams to implement new Service Desk functionalities.

• Work alongside functional teams to comprehend support areas served by AI solutions.

• Lead and mentor a small team that includes one direct report.

• Independently manage projects from their inception to completion.

• Streamline operational workflows utilizing critical thinking and process excellence.

• Ensure prompt delivery of operational support for AI initiatives.

• Stay informed about AI trends and AFS-specific AI solutions.

• Appropriately escalate issues to leadership.

• Strong critical thinking and process optimization abilities.

• Experience in creating, managing, monitoring, and enhancing reporting and dashboards.

• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Proficient in analyzing large data sets.

• Capacity to collaborate with leadership and various teams.

• Proven experience in leading and mentoring a small team.

• Familiarity with project management methodologies.

• Ability to work autonomously.

• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.

• Candidates for employment in the US must possess work authorization that does not currently or will not in the future require visa sponsorship.

• Bonus: Exposure to Lean or Six Sigma process improvement methodologies.

• Bonus: Experience with IT service management platforms like ServiceNow.
