📋 Description

• Design and optimize deep learning and transformer architectures for specific high-impact tasks.

• Enhance transformer models for inference and scalability in critical production environments.

• Lead large-scale fine-tuning initiatives using proprietary domain data.

• Develop scalable GenAI services with caching, batching, and a focus on cost-efficiency.

• Integrate multimodal systems in high-impact productive use cases.

• Define and construct frameworks for prompt evaluation and output quality for the entire team.

• Implement human-in-the-loop evaluation in critical projects.

• Audit and enhance the security and alignment of the team's system outputs.

• Quantify and communicate the strategic impact of solutions at the executive level.

• Self-manage a prioritized portfolio of GenAI projects based on business value.

• Collaborate with product teams to outline the roadmap for GenAI initiatives.

• Multiply technical knowledge through formal mentoring, code reviews, and documentation of best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields with a strong quantitative and computational component.

• A postgraduate degree or PhD in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or Computer Science is a plus.

• Between 4 and 6+ years in generative AI roles, Machine Learning Engineering, or applied AI.

• At least 3 GenAI projects taken to production with measurable impact.

• Proficiency in deep learning and transformers (GPT, BERT, LLaMA or equivalents).

• Experience in fine-tuning and adapting models using LoRA/PEFT.

• Familiarity with LLM APIs and frameworks: OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, LlamaIndex, and HuggingFace.

• Experience with multimodal AI (text, vision, and audio) in productive use cases.

• Inference optimization (caching, batching, quantization, distillation) with GPU/TPU support.

• Knowledge of human-in-the-loop methodology and Responsible AI.

• Desirable: understanding of NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, or EU AI Act; experience with RLHF; GenAI models applied to finance; architecture on Vertex AI or SageMaker.
