This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain comprehensive product features across the full stack.
• Create AI-native applications and workflows utilizing autonomous agents, LLMs, tools, APIs, retrieval systems, and structured data.
• Construct agentic systems that are capable of planning and executing multi-step tasks with features such as observability, evaluation, permissions, and human oversight.
• Employ autonomous development agents for various functions including implementation, testing, debugging, refactoring, documentation, and code review.
• Develop and manage multi-agent workflows throughout product discovery, architecture, development, testing, security, deployment, and maintenance phases.
• Define agent roles, communication protocols, permissions, escalation procedures, and quality assurance measures.
• Design backend services, APIs, data models, integrations, and modern frontend user experiences.
• Make architectural decisions focused on scalability, reliability, security, cost-effectiveness, and maintainability.
• Establish evaluation frameworks and feedback mechanisms to assess agent quality, accuracy, reliability, and business impact.
• Develop safeguards against architectural drift, security risks, unreliable code, and unnecessary complexity.
• Implement measures to guard against hallucinations, prompt injections, excessive permissions, data leaks, and unreliable tool execution.
• Evaluate software factory effectiveness based on delivery speed, defect rates, test coverage, reliability, costs, and business outcomes.
• Work with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, containers, logs, monitoring tools, secrets, environments, and production deployments.
• Apply foundational cybersecurity principles in application development and infrastructure practices.
• Collaborate with founders, product stakeholders, customers, and engineering teams.
• Take ownership of projects from problem identification through to production deployment and ongoing enhancements.
• Assess emerging frameworks, models, protocols, and development practices related to agentic AI.
• Gradually coordinate the agent swarm while shaping the AI-native engineering organization.
• Deliver impactful full-stack features into production.
• Establish autonomous-agent workflows to enhance engineering efficiency and quality.
• Contribute to architectural improvements across application, AI, data, security, and infrastructure layers.
• Enhance the reliability, security, and observability of agentic systems.
• Create repeatable workflows for agents to implement, test, review, and document software.
• Exhibit project ownership from conception through to measurable production results.
• Approximately 5–8 years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated capability.
• Proven experience in owning delivery from start to finish and successfully completing products.
• Strong skills in full-stack development.
• Familiarity with React, Next.js, or similar frontend frameworks.
• Backend development experience with Python, TypeScript, Node.js, or comparable technologies.
• Experience with REST, GraphQL, event-driven, or asynchronous integrations.
• Proficiency with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, API design, data modeling, testing, and production engineering.
• Practical experience in working with LLMs or agentic AI systems.
• Knowledge of tool usage, function calling, planning, multi-step execution, agent orchestration, delegation, multi-agent collaboration, memory management, context management, retrieval-augmented generation, structured outputs, validation processes, model routing, evaluations, tracing, observability, guardrails, permission boundaries, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code through tests, reviews, security assessments, and architectural reasoning.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, containers, CI/CD practices, production monitoring, and deployment methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity including authentication, authorization, encryption, secrets management, secure API design, dependency and supply-chain security, data privacy, access controls, and common web application vulnerabilities.
• Strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and adaptability in a dynamic startup environment.
• Eagerness to stay at the forefront of agentic AI and AI-native software development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Availability between approximately 6:00 PM and 12:00 AM IST for necessary meetings and live collaboration.
• Commitment to approximately 50 hours per week.
• Availability during critical deployments and incident responses.
