AI Machine Learning Engineer, 3D Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Create sophisticated feature-extraction and data-processing solutions for 3D CAD, 2D, and batch data feeding machine learning systems.

• Develop, train, and implement deep learning models that comprehend geometry, driving quoting, calculation, and optimization engines.

• Improve and expand 2D/3D/CAD tools and geometry solutions.

• Design, engineer, and manage cloud services, APIs, and automated model training/deployment from proof of concept to production under real-world conditions.

• Collaborate across interconnected cloud, data, computer vision, and machine learning services utilizing various languages and platforms.

• Integrate algorithms with factory-floor hardware and physical machines.

• Reverse-engineer industrial protocols, construct edge data pipelines, and analyze complex 3D geometry to streamline manufacturing business processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in machine learning and deep learning.

• Proven development experience or significant projects involving building, training, and deploying models (PyTorch, PyTorch Lightning, scikit-learn, or similar), beyond just coursework or library usage.

• Strong mathematical proficiency in linear algebra, geometry, statistics, and probability.

• Over 5 years of experience with both dynamically and statically typed languages (e.g., Python along with C++/C#).

• Practical experience in game development, 3D geometry, rendering, fluid simulations, CUDA/GPU programming, or comparable fields.

• Experience in production environments, building or maintaining systems under heavy load.

• Background in CAD system development; exposure to the CNC/mechanical industry.

• Familiarity with ML industrialization methods: ONNX, quantization, Docker, MLOps practices, and automated model training and deployment.

• Experience working with large datasets: processing, clustering, filtering, indexing, and querying; conducting statistical testing and outlier analysis.

• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS/Azure), SQL and NoSQL databases, with full-stack experience (e.g., Angular).

• A video demonstration of an application that you have built is required for evaluation.

• Achievements in programming/mathematical contests and/or a chess.com rating are requested.

• A GitHub profile or personal website is required.
