AI Engineer – .NET, Azure AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Develop, troubleshoot, manage, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Design innovative digital products for prominent companies globally.

• Construct orchestration and backend APIs utilizing .NET/C#.

• Engage with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, and models akin to ChatGPT.

• Implement generative AI solutions for tasks such as summarization, extraction, filtering, and speech-to-text/transcription.

• Employ RAG and AI search methodologies.

• Utilize Cursor IDE and GitHub Copilot for code creation, refactoring, and debugging.

• Deploy and integrate AI models into production APIs, pipelines, and backend systems.

• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams.

• Participate in global initiatives across various industries.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or similar software engineering positions.

• Educational background in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.

• Strong expertise with .NET/C# (.NET Core, .NET 6/8), including the development of orchestration and backend APIs.

• Practical experience with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, or models like ChatGPT (GPT-4o-level).

• Familiarity with generative AI for summarization, extraction, filtering, and speech-to-text/transcription processes.

• Knowledge of RAG and AI search patterns.

• Exceptional skills in using Agentic AI tools such as Cursor IDE and GitHub Copilot.

• Comprehensive understanding of Transformer-based model architectures and fundamental Machine Learning concepts.

• Experience in deploying or integrating AI models within production settings.

• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.

• Proven ability to collaborate with engineering and product development teams.

• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

• Must reside in Portugal or be willing and legally qualified to live and work there.
