AI Engineer Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the AWS enterprise architecture from start to finish, which includes multi-account governance, implementing guardrails, designing Transit Gateway topologies, managing hybrid on-premises connectivity, performing centralized traffic inspection, hybrid DNS management, and ensuring a strong security posture.

• Document, advocate for, and revise architecture decision records (ADRs).

• Provide technical leadership to the operational team through design evaluations, code assessments, and architectural choices.

• Develop CDK stacks, Lambda functions, and agent tooling.

• Create and enhance delivery agents for intent decomposition, generation of design artifacts, implementation scaffolding, validation, and gate reporting.

• Write capability instructions to ensure agents deliver architecture-compliant outcomes.

• Operate within the Intent-Driven Framework utilizing feature flags and fixed-scope delivery cycles.

• Update a live VB6 desktop application by migrating functionalities to cloud services while ensuring legacy compatibility.

• Provide designs for read-only replication, proof of parity, and staged cutover.

• Conduct platform assessments for the external digital front and deliver practical recommendations.

• Create reusable contracts for external identity, tenancy, and APIs.

• Articulate architecture to client IT and security leadership while translating client constraints into necessary design modifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant years of experience in software engineering with a focus on architecture for production systems you were responsible for.

• Experience in serverless application architecture, including API Gateway, Lambda, CloudFront, Cognito with SAML federation, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch, and X-Ray.

• Proficiency in AWS CDK using TypeScript, encompassing stack boundaries and construct design.

• Adept in Java and TypeScript, with the ability to review and write code effectively.

• Familiarity with Java 25, Spring Cloud Function on Lambda, React 19 with TypeScript, and CDK in TypeScript.

• Experience in REST contract design, versioning, and ensuring backward compatibility.

• Knowledge of GitHub Actions with OIDC-based cloud authentication.

• Practical experience with Prompt Engineering, RAG, and Agentic Frameworks such as Claude Agent SDK, Strands, LangChain, or CrewAI.

• Integration skills for tools and MCP.

• Context engineering and verification of agent outputs at scale.

• Background in shipping systems that needed to coexist with an immutable legacy system.

• Understanding of the Agentic SDLC.

• Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
