AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement AI agents that streamline real business processes, such as creating proposals for client tenders.

• Integrate large language models (LLMs), including OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic, and various open-source models, into current software products.

• Facilitate AI capabilities such as chatbots that operate directly within clients' systems and data.

• Identify opportunities for automation and transform them into effective solutions.

• Choose suitable LLM and tooling strategies by assessing cost, performance, and reliability.

• Oversee the entire delivery process, from prototype development to production.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of comprehensive software engineering experience.

• A minimum of 5 successfully completed AI/LLM projects.

• Practical experience with various LLM providers (OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic) as well as open-source models.

• Experience in constructing agentic workflows for process automation.

• Background in integrating LLMs into production software products (chatbots, copilots, or other AI-driven features).

• Strong foundational engineering skills.

• Capacity to work independently in a fast-paced and sometimes uncertain environment.

• Familiarity with agent frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or similar) is a plus.

• Experience with prompt engineering or large-scale fine-tuning is an advantage.

• Prior consulting or contracting experience is a bonus.

• Experience with SaaS products, particularly in supply chain, logistics, or other B2B software sectors is a bonus.
