AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Collaborate across sales, finance, service delivery, network operations, and human resources to pinpoint slow, manual, or outdated tasks.

• Analyze current workflows to identify high-value processes suitable for automation, improvement, or elimination.

• Design, construct, and implement AI agents, workflows powered by LLMs, and various integrations.

• Connect CRM, ERP, HR, ticketing, network, and monitoring systems via APIs.

• Streamline or eliminate process steps when appropriate.

• Set project baselines and track metrics such as hours saved, reduced cycle times, and errors eliminated.

• Assist colleagues in adopting AI through practical examples, concise training sessions, and reusable tools.

• Safeguard company and customer data, ensure human oversight for high-risk decisions, and document solutions effectively.

• Collaborate closely with the AI & Data team and process owners.

• Report directly to the CEO.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of software engineering experience, including hands-on development of LLM-powered applications, agents, or automations utilized daily.

• Proficient in Python or TypeScript.

• Familiarity with APIs, SQL, and data pipelines.

• Practical experience with LLM APIs and methodologies, including prompt design, tool utilization, retrieval (RAG), and evaluation.

• Experience in integrating business systems via APIs and webhooks.

• Proven ability to transform an ambiguous problem from initial discussion to effective solution with minimal supervision.

• Strong communication skills with non-technical teams.

• Willingness to respectfully challenge established processes.

• Proficient in English (B2+).

• Located in the Miami, Florida area.
