AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Assist various engineering teams in transitioning applications to a new identity and authentication platform.

• Create reusable AI capabilities to facilitate application migration.

• Design and implement AI-driven tools and automation solutions for configuration analysis and migration tasks.

• Develop rapid proofs of concept and prototypes to validate use cases and showcase business value early on.

• Convert successful prototypes into reusable, maintainable components, APIs, and automation frameworks.

• Establish AI architecture, standards, guardrails, and best practices for AI-enhanced software development.

• Mentor and assist engineering teams in adopting AI-driven development methodologies and modern tools.

• Organize and deliver training sessions, workshops, and enablement activities focused on AI technology and methodology.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, platform, and DevOps engineers to create data pipelines, AI agents, and automation workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with LLMs and Generative AI, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), structured extraction, tool/function calling, and agentic workflows.

• Demonstrated success in developing AI-powered automation solutions, agents, or workflows within large-scale projects and enterprise settings.

• Strong hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot and similar AI-assisted software development tools.

• Solid foundation in software engineering with the capability to create scalable, maintainable, and reusable solutions.

• Background in DevOps and automation engineering, collaborating closely with infrastructure and platform teams.

• Comprehensive understanding of data pipelines and the ability to translate complex expert knowledge into AI-enabled solutions.

• Exceptional communication, consulting, and mentoring abilities, with experience in introducing new tools, technologies, and methodologies.

• Pragmatic, hands-on, and adaptable mindset with the capacity to excel in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.

• Proficiency in English.

• Familiarity with Identity and Access Management technologies such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML.

• Experience in platform migration projects and large-scale application modernization initiatives.

• Knowledge of AI governance, quality gates, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails for AI-driven systems.

• Experience in delivering technical training, workshops, and enablement programs for engineering teams.
