AI Engineer – Architecture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and implement the modernization strategy for HCL portals, spearheading development using Angular, Node.js, and Spring Boot for AWS cloud, from architecture to thoroughly tested code.

• Engage in strategically analyzing the current infrastructure and determining the target architecture alongside the architect.

• Gather, document, and enhance both functional and non-functional requirements in collaboration with business and technology teams, utilizing tools like Jira, Confluence, and Miro.

• Develop, customize, and coordinate agents, skills, sub-agents, commands, and harnesses to expedite application development and minimize lead time.

• Utilize software architecture and engineering principles, including microservices, event-driven systems, queues, CI/CD, TDD, and automation.

• Convert functional requirements into practical, straightforward, and scalable technical solutions while steering clear of over-engineering.

• Assess solutions, agents, and skills through evaluations, testing, and red teaming.

• Implement Scrum and Kanban methodologies, document processes, and suggest ongoing enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Java development with Spring Boot, Angular, and Node.js at a senior level.

• Proficient in AWS cloud, encompassing application architecture and deployment knowledge.

• Strong understanding of contemporary architectures: microservices, event-driven systems, queues, CI/CD, and TDD.

• Familiarity with documentation and collaboration platforms: Jira, Confluence, and Miro.

• Experience with agile practices, particularly Scrum and Kanban methodologies.

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with both business and technology teams.

• Strong analytical skills and critical thinking abilities to evaluate requests and transform them into effective solutions.

• Background in or familiarity with agentic SDLC and employing AI as a development accelerator (preferred).
