AI & Educational Technology Specialist – 12 month Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess departmental processes and pinpoint opportunities to integrate AI and automation in collaboration with IDT leadership.

• Set up and execute solutions utilizing authorized AI tools, LMS features, workflow platforms, and associated technologies.

• Utilize AI for instructional design, course upkeep, quality assessment, documentation, and educational technology operations.

• Create reusable prompts, templates, workflows, and agents to ensure consistent and effective utilization of AI.

• Evaluate AI solutions for precision, user-friendliness, and dependability prior to deployment.

• Work alongside the LMS Manager and IT for technical development and system integrations.

• Prepare documentation and deliver practical training to facilitate staff adoption of AI.

• Collect staff feedback, record implementation outcomes, and propose enhancements for AI tools and departmental processes.

• Adhere to institutional standards for curriculum governance, accessibility, data privacy, security, and sanctioned technology usage.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business, Information Technology, Multimedia Production, Human Resources, Communications, or a related discipline.

• Over 3 years of relevant experience.

• Background in higher education focusing on educational technology or instructional design.

• Proven experience in implementing AI-supported workflows.

• Familiarity with LMS environments and course development processes.

• AI certification, completion of a formal AI training program, or proven experience utilizing AI tools in a professional setting (preferred).
