AI & E-Commerce Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Create AI-driven tools and workflows that enhance efficiency throughout the organization.

• Leverage AI for coding, automation, data processing, product management, customer service, and internal operations.

• Design and maintain backend applications, APIs, integrations, and internal tools.

• Contribute to the development or enhancement of a Product Information Management (PIM) system.

• Work with product catalogs that include over 100,000 SKUs.

• Optimize product imports, vendor feeds, pricing, inventory, categorization, and data quality.

• Connect Shopify with CRM, order management, shipping, vendor, and other business systems.

• Identify manual or inefficient workflows and create technical solutions to enhance them.

• Collaborate with the lead developer on architecture, integrations, and larger development projects.

• Assess new AI tools and evaluate their potential to effectively support the business and current development processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior-level developer position.

• Preferred expertise in Python and Django.

• Experience in Shopify development, including Liquid/theme development and/or React/Hydrogen/headless commerce.

• Familiarity with ecommerce platforms, web applications, APIs, and system architecture.

• Proficiency in SQL and database management.

• Experience in building AI/LLM-powered tools, integrations, and automations.

• Knowledge of PIM, CRM, ERP, or Order Management systems.

• Experience managing large-scale product catalogs and product data.

• Familiarity with search platforms such as Algolia or Elasticsearch.

• Background in furniture, home furnishings, or another product-heavy retail environment is advantageous.

• Capacity to comprehend business challenges and develop practical solutions using AI, automation, and traditional development methods.
